Personal: Haven't really been running like I ought to, no real miles since...fall 2009...I think. Anyhow, I'm from Hurricane, Utah, and I'm going to school at Snow College-Richfield to get certified for Auto Mechanics, just about done with my first semester. Went out to the Fairgrounds rollercoaster run today. 2 mile loop 2x pretty fast, not too tired, though. Really hot today. |

| Indian runs today. I'm running with the JV now, I think I'm performing alot better 'cause I'm not worn out 24/7, but they can't seem to keep up with me very well. |

| Hill/speed workouts on Thrill Hill today. Went from about halfway to the top of the new roads 3x, then about half that distance 5x. Calves were really cramped this morning, but they feel really good now. |

| Race went pretty well today. Flat grass course, used my DI spikes, old Nike MD IIIs. They worked very well, probably saved my bacon the last 200 or so. Started out too fast, 5:57 1st mile, 6:23 2nd mile, 6:40 3rd mile. |
